Update #1
So we've been working hard on Pre-production; so far, we've been doing some visual effects tests and I would like to show you some. I will show more later but for now, here's a rough draft UDK visual effect.

Mass Effect: Eclipse
What is this? What is it about? What's the Budget? When did it start? Who are you people?!
I'll answer each of these questions as best as possible:
Mass Effect: Eclipse (Working title) is a live action Mass Effect short film created under the production group, Daemon Productions. Taking place within the ME Universe, Eclipse deals with the deadly Eclipse mercenary group after a massacre on a remote colony.
The Budget for this film is over $600 at the moment, with possibly more to come. Visual Effects are being done by Tyler Gregory, also known as GeneticSpartan on YT, who is well known for Mario vs Spartan 2 as well as his latest work "The Rookie", that won first place at a stop motion Mega Bloks contest. We're currently in talk with Holly Conrad, a costume designer from California, who has done work on the live action Bioware short and is known for her Female Shepard armor.
This project started about a week ago with the story being written; since then, we've been in Pre-Production with VFX, costume talks, writing the script and hiring people to help us out.
Who are we? Well my name is Kevin Delgado, I'm the Director, Editor and Creator of Eclipse. On the team is Christopher Arnold, Producer and Co-Writer, Jonathan Sud, Co-Writer & UDK Modeler and Tyler Gregory, Visual Effects artists. We're just fans of Mass Effect who want to create something new and interesting for the masses.
